1 ½ sticks unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup organic cane sugar
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 ½ cups organic unbleached flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Maple Sauce
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup white chocolate chips
¼ cup organic cane sugar
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 cup Old Home All Natural Sour Cream
Directions
Blondie
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x 9 baking dish.
Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat butter and sugar together. Add vanilla extract and add eggs in one at a time and beat until incorporated. Mix in flour, baking powder and baking soda. Fold in white chocolate chips and nuts. Pour in prepared baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Maple Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, white chocolate, and sugar. Stir or use a whisk until everything is combined. After mixture starts to get bubbly and thicken, about 1 minute.
Remove from heat and add Old Home All Natural Sour Cream, and maple syrup. Stir until combined.
Sauce will thicken more as it cools.
To serve: place warmed blondie on a plate, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and POUR that maple sauce on!
